As the stats for today continue to climb, I continue to be incredibly grateful and blessed. I’ve received a multitude of emails, text messages, phone calls and comments regarding the Ceding No Ground post, and thus far, all of them have been overwhelmingly supportive.
If you read the article, you know that I probably irked a few people and definitely rocked the boat a bit. I honestly hope I receive some sort of response from MDGOP leadership, because I will most certainly post that as well. While the response I’ve received has definitely been encouraging and quite complimentary, I reiterate the point made by my friend Dan Bongino many times, that “this isn’t about me”. You see my friends, all of you are the reason that speaking up was so incredibly important. No, it is not about me, it’s about a movement.
I talked to a number of people from all over the great state of Maryland during my time as a Regional Coordinator for the Bongino campaign. I heard several times about a corrupt power structure that needed to be shaken up. Today, one of the people that reached out to me was Joe Steffen of Global Rhetoric, and he hasn’t hesitated in stating his desire to see that ‘shaking’ happen. His article, appropriately titled, Another Shot Fired in MDGOP Civil War’, can be read here. I am humbled and very grateful for Joe seeing value in what I wrote and I appreciate his willingness to further the message.
