After the cries of many, asking for Hillary Clinton’s testimony on Benghazi, and after delays related to her health issues, today is the day. Clinton will testify before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee at 9 am (aired live on CSPAN 3) and the House Foreign Affairs Committee at 2pm. You can also watch that testimony live here.
Will we hear sincerity? Truth? Accountability?
(Fox News) “There’s no question there hasn’t been the accountability within the department,” Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., the incoming top Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, told Fox News. “I think this is going to be the beginning, I hope … of a top-to-bottom review.”
According to State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland, we’ll hear explanation of how changes are being implemented as a result of the report on security failures in Benghazi. Although three State Department employees were reportedly fired and one employee resigned, it’s interesting to note that they are actually on ‘administrative leave’, therefore still State department employees.
Will you be watching? I certainly will.
