Benghazi, swept under the rug.
(Powerline) Barack Obama’s prospects for re-election have been fading for some time now. As Mitt Romney surges, Obama flails, embarrassing himself with silly trivialities that are often summed up as Big Bird, binders and bayonets. That’s what happens when your record is so bad that you can’t talk about it; not truthfully, anyway. So it has been clear for a while that Obama’s re-election hopes can’t absorb another blow. Which the Benghazi story, to the extent the facts get out, surely is.
Please read the whole thing.
When you have such incredible sacrifice and bravery, it’s a travesty that we’re still begging for truth and justice when it comes to Benghazi.
(ScottOnCapeCod) A short distance from the American compound, two Americans were sleeping. They were in Libya as independent contractors working an assignment totally unrelated to our embassy. They also happened to be former Navy SEALs. When they heard the noise coming from the attack on our embassy, as you would expect from highly trained warriors, they ran to the fight. Apparently, they had no weapons, but seeing the Libyan guards dropping their guns in their haste in fleeing the scene, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty snatched up several of these discarded weapons and prepared to defend the American compound.
As I said earlier, these men are not just hero’s, they’re beyond hero’s. Let’s honor them by ending this failure in leadership. The American people have had enough. As the Obama administration is racking up failures, Romney’s campaign continues to gain momentum despite weather threatening rally events.
It’s time for a new Commander In Chief folks.
